It was a total pleasure to have guest-lectured at the incredible School of Visual Arts yesterday. The students proved to be dedicated, smart, inspiring and extremely talented. Lead by the incredible artist Sean Basil McGiver, these kids showed me that some people believe great technology can’t be only efficient and profoundly responsive, it must also be beautiful! It was a humbling and great experience.
So proud to be lecturing at the prestigious School of Visual Arts on Monday… my passion for teaching and my love of design is something I’m so happy to share. The School of Visual Arts (SVA), is an art school located in New York City, and ranked 18th among the art graduate schools mentioned in the U.S. News & World Report. It was established in 1947 by co-founders Silas H. Rhodes and Burne Hogarth as the Cartoonists and Illustrators School and was renamed in 1956. It offered its first degrees in 1972. SVA is a member of the Association of Independent Colleges of Art and Design (AICAD), a consortium of 36 leading art schools in the United States.
